Clothing is a basic need. It protects us from heat, cold, dust and rain. We
wear a variety of dresses as per the climate, region, culture and occasion.
People living in a hot climate wear cotton clothes while those living in cold
climates wear woollen clothes.
Clothes also vary as per the state.

v Saree is widely worn in India, but in different styles.
In modern times, some dresses have become very common and can be seen
almost everywhere.
We can identify many of our helpers from their dresses.
