National Festivals and I
We are Indians. We are proud to be Indians. We celebrate many
festivals as Indians. Many great leaders have worked for our good. We
remember them on these days.
Independence Day
We became free on 15
August, 1947. So, we
celebrate Independence
Day on this day each year.
The Prime Minister hoists
the Tricolour at the Red
Fort in New Delhi. All
people hoist flags in their
towns and villages.
