There are many religious festivals. We celebrate them with family

and friends.

Diwali

Diwali is a festival of lights

and joy. People clean and
decorate their houses. They

offer sweets and gifts to one

another. They worship

Goddess Lakshmi and Lord
Ganesha. Some children burst

crackers.

Holi

Holi is a festival of colours.
People play with colours. They

sing and dance together. They

hug each other. Children play

with water-filled balloons and
water-guns. Women cook

gujhia at home, it is a sweet

dish.

Eid

People wear new clothes on

this festival. They pray to God.

They hug one another and
greet. They exchange sweets

and gifts.
