                                                              Brands
                 In advertising, the word brand is the identity of a specific product or service. Effective advertising helps
                 to promote the demand for a product and liking for a special brand. It gives fame and build trust for the
                 brand.

                 One kind of product may have several brands. Each brand advertises its product in the best possible
                 manner to win over the buyers. Once a brand is well established in the market, it      does not need
                 advertising in a large scale. It is known as brand franchise. Sometimes a brand becomes so popular that
                 it describes the whole category of the products such as colgate, sunmica or surf.
                 A brand that is distributed and sold in one country or region is called a local brand. While a brand that is
                 known in many countries is known as international brand.
