Delhi has a number of
stadiums, such as Talkatora
Stadium, Jawaharlal Nehru
Stadium, Ferozshah Kotla
Grounds etc., where a large
number of sports events are
held. People are fond of
music. Punjabi folk music is
very popular. Pop music is Jawarlal Nehru Stadium Bhangra
also popular. There are abundant means of entertainment like cinemas,
parks and gardens where people visit in
large numbers.
As an Education Centre
Delhi has a large number of schools,
colleges and other educational institutions.
Delhi University and Jawaharlal Nehru
University are well-known universities of
the world. Students from all over India and
world come here for education.

Problems
A large number of people visit Delhi to
look for employment opportunities, so
the population is increasing rapidly. Due
to this, many unauthorised colonies
have come up. The roads are much
crowded and traffic-jam is a great
problem. With increasing number of
vehicles on roads, pollution has become
a severe problem.
