Now, name the given geometrical shapes :

Point, Line, Line Segment and Ray

Point : A small dot made by a sharp pencil on a paper represents a point . A P
point has no length, breadth or height. It has an exact location. A dot shown

alongside is a point. It is represented by P.
Line : A line is a straight path of points that extends on and on in both the

directions without ever ending. It has no fixed length. The figure alongside X Y
is a line. It is denoted by XY or YX.
